Stani Kulechov, founder of the decentralized social media protocol Lens, said he expects "certainly some increased activity" after the U.S. election. "But the real peak will be at the application layer, as we see more and more applications built on this technology," he said in an interview.
Lens adopts the concept of DeFi composability, which is to use Lego-like building blocks to add functionality and plug into other applications within the blockchain space. In the latest V3 version, Lens introduced several flagship features, namely verified information flow and curated content groups, allowing users to create decentralized content with thousands of contributors.
Kulechov added: "The election showed that the algorithms people consume are almost imposed on them, and users have little choice. Whether it is push or other types of solutions, users should be able to choose their own algorithms and be able to 'shop around' and make changes consciously." (CoinDesk)
