Hollywood plans to make SBF feature film based on the book by the author of The Big Short

Apple Studios and A24 are jointly developing and producing a feature film about SBF, based on the book Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon by Michael Lewis, author of The Big Short. Lewis published the book in October 2023, the same day SBF's criminal trial began in New York. Some critics claim Lewis downplayed the impact of SBF's actions on millions of investors. Part of the book focuses on SBF's effective altruism and how it may have influenced the events that led to his misuse of client funds. Director and actress Lena Dunham will write the script for the film, which may be in early development. (Variety)
