Solana-based NFT marketplace Tensor has revealed its upcoming new platform Vector.fun, which will combine social engagement with token trading in mobile-first apps across multiple chains.
Tensor founder Ilja Moisejevs shared details about the trading platform on social media on Tuesday, emphasizing that its development stems from NFT market weakness and market attention to becoming a "tokenized meme."
Moisejevs said: "We saw an explosive new market pop up, and we realized it would be the protagonist of this cycle. We knew we had to enter and win. Just like the early NFTs: there was no shortage of trading products... and just like the early NFTs: they all sucked. We thought we could do better. So we imagined a 10x experience."
The platform, which has been in private beta for the past few months, aims to combine trading with social interaction in the SocialFi experience, that is, centralizing Meme coin gameplay and community building. It is expected that parties on the waiting list will have the opportunity to use Vector.fun in the coming weeks as the team gradually rolls out access. Holders of the company's NFT series Tensorians can confirm ownership through Discord to skip the waitlist. (Decrypt)
