WSJ: Cantor Fitzgerald agreed to acquire 5% of Tether for $600 million last year

Financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald agreed to acquire a 5% stake in stablecoin issuer Tether in 2023, with the WSJ reporting on November 24, citing information from business partners familiar with the matter, that the shares were worth $600 million at the time of the agreement.
