Cardano core developer Sebastian Guillemot revealed that its first zero-knowledge (ZK) transaction Halo2 is now live on the mainnet, with the transaction hash "71579b77ab7d974eb31ef1b50d58f14f2ceac2bcf540aac50f777f56a8f24bff".
Input Output Global pointed out in another article that it has carried out Halo2 ZK Proof verification activities. The direct goal of this move is to serve the temporary threshold multi-signature scheme (ATMS), which will be able to check 50 out of 90 signatures.
When simulating the actual use case of this smart contract protocol, IOHK said that the testnet recorded low transaction fees. Only 0.16 ADA transaction fees are charged for tokens locked. In addition, the unlocking fees on Halo2 totaled 2.03 ADA. (CoinGape)
