Poll: One in five U.S. voters surveyed have traded, invested or used cryptocurrencies

A new poll from Emerson College found that about one in five (19%) U.S. voters surveyed said they have invested, traded or used cryptocurrencies. The survey data released on Dec. 17 surveyed 1,000 registered voters between Dec. 11 and Dec. 13 and found that nearly 40% of respondents who use cryptocurrencies also made purchases using cryptocurrencies. Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Poll, said: "Crypto users are younger and have a larger minority base, which highlights that cryptocurrencies are a growing and diverse political support group: 57% of cryptocurrency users have a favorable view of Trump."
