According to NBC News, tech billionaire Musk is facing accusations of censorship from conservatives in the United States after several well-known right-wing accounts that criticized Musk's views on immigration said they were subsequently unable to use the advanced features of Musk's social media platform "X". An investigation showed that at least 14 conservative accounts said late Thursday or Friday that X revoked their "blue V certification", depriving them of access to various advanced features, including making money through subscriptions and advertising revenue sharing. Some accounts said that the number of accounts affected was far more than that. Some conservatives said they believed that X's behavior was a betrayal of Musk and was "secretly banning" his conservative critics.
