Globalt Investments executives: Will consider increasing Bitcoin holdings, but the proportion of the portfolio may not exceed 5%

BlackRock, which manages the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, previously said that a 2% allocation to Bitcoin in a traditional multi-asset portfolio is a "reasonable range". In response, Thomas Martin, senior portfolio manager at Globalt Investments, an investment institution, revealed that 10% of his portfolio is gold and he may consider increasing his holdings of Bitcoin, but the proportion of the portfolio may not exceed 5%. In addition, he also said that he might consider holding 5% of cash in the portfolio and the rest in stocks and bonds, with the proportion between the latter two varying according to the risk preferences of different investors. Thomas Martin pointed out that in some aggressive strategies he manages for clients, stocks may account for 90% of the portfolio, and gold has a low correlation with stocks, bonds and cash, and may sometimes serve as a store of value.
