Finnish police seized about $2.6 million worth of luxury watches from Hex founder Richard Schueler (aka Richard Heart) at a home in Espoo, including 20 watches, most of which were Rolex. He was wanted for suspected tax evasion across the country.
The action is related to Interpol's previous red warrant for Schueler. He was accused of tax evasion, violent assault on minors, and misusing $12 million raised by the Hex project to buy luxury goods. In addition, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accused him of raising more than $1 billion through unregistered securities such as Hex, and claimed that the high returns promised by his crypto project were unrealistic.
