Avraham “Avi” Eisenberg, convicted of fraud and market manipulation using Mango Markets, will be sentenced on April 10.
In a Jan. 8 filing with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY), Judge Arun Subramanian adjourned Eisenberg’s sentencing hearing to April 10 at the request of Eisenberg’s attorneys. He was initially scheduled to be sentenced at a hearing on Dec. 12, which was later postponed to Feb. 11 for a conviction in April 2024.
The Mango Markets attacker’s legal team requested the adjournment on Jan. 7, citing “the complexity of the factual record of the case and some sentencing issues.” The U.S. Attorney’s Office did not oppose the change. (Cointelegraph)
