As CoinDesk reported, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said at the New York Times DealBook Summit in New York City that he remains optimistic about the Metaverse in the next five to 10 years. Zuckerberg said that due to the macro environment, Meta needs higher operational efficiency and stricter discipline in the short term. Currently, Reality Labs under Meta is focusing on the development of three metaverse projects including virtual reality, augmented reality and social platforms. . Zuckerberg also said he wasn't worried about criticism of his Metaverse bet, since a lack of resistance usually means an idea isn't ambitious enough.
