American law firm Scott+Scott was entrusted by two plaintiffs to initiate a class action lawsuit against 37 defendants including the founder and leadership team of Yuga Labs, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Jimmy Fallon and Madonna, alleging They "misleadingly promoted" Yuga Labs' NFT and caused financial losses to the plaintiffs. Among them, these investors have purchased Yuga Labs' NFTs, including Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) or ApeCoin, from April 2021 to the present and caused investment losses. Foresight News previously reported that Scott+Scott is investigating whether certain Yuga Labs executives, directors, promoters and company insiders violated federal securities laws.
