However, in a recent report, Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget reveals that 27% of female investors in the United States are investing in crypto to fund their children's education.

On the other hand, female investors in South Korea and Japan are using cryptocurrency to improve their personal financial situations.

More precisely, 49% of female users in South Korea and 41% in Japan invest with this objective, in contrast to 45% and 30% of their male counterparts, respectively.

Furthermore, a growing number of female investors in South Korea and Japan aspire to use cryptocurrency as a means to improve their living standards.

Demographic Factors

In contrast, 17% of South Korean male investors are using crypto to enhance family finances.

The report also highlights that nearly 40% of Chinese investors maintain a substantial minimum amount in cryptocurrency.

Among these investors, 19% have committed a minimum of $100,000 to the crypto market, while another 18% have invested at least $50,000.

Conversely, users in Malaysia and Taiwan view crypto investments as a crucial means of supporting their family's income.

The report notes that 36% of respondents from these regions prioritize their family's quality of life above other financial objectives.

Gender and Crypto Investment

The relationship between gender and crypto has been a subject of ongoing exploration and discussion.

A report from April 2022 indicated that female cryptocurrency adoption was outpacing that of their male counterparts, with female involvement in crypto increasing by 172% over a 12-month period, compared to an 80% increase for men.

Behavioral finance studies have consistently shown that women tend to exhibit greater risk aversion in their investment choices compared to men.
