Curve Finance, along with Metronome and Alchemix, have decided to negotiate with the hacker directly, presenting an on-chain message through the hacker's Ethereum address.
In the message, they assure the hacker that they won't pursue any legal actions and promise a risk-free resolution.
The trio has set a deadline for the hacker to respond, stating that by August 6 at 0800 UTC, if the stolen tokens are returned, the hacker will receive the 10% bounty without facing any consequences.
However, if the deadline passes without a resolution, the bounty will transform into a vigilante payout for anyone providing information leading to the hacker's arrest and conviction.
Last Sunday, Curve, Metronome, and Alchemix fell victim to a devastating hack, resulting in a loss of nearly $62 million.
The hacker exploited a bug, depleting a significant portion of their trading pools.
Although some tokens were recovered from front-runners who unknowingly outpaced the hackers, a substantial part of the stolen funds remains with the unknown perpetrator.
