A quick look at Blast's fifth "Gold Points" plan

Blast will distribute 10 million gold points to Dapps in its fifth distribution. This is the last gold point distribution before the Blast airdrop on June 26.

Calculation method

Dapps launched on the mainnet are weighted according to the following formula: Category weight x Blast native weight x Dapp weight x incentive weight.

Dapps will receive 10 million gold points in proportion to their final weight.

Category Weights

Some categories did not receive any gold points this round, but still contain promising Dapps. We allocated 2,000 or 10,000 gold points to these Dapps.

Blast Native Weight

Dapps are assigned a weight of 1, 1.5, or 2 based on their exclusivity on Blast:

-2 means the Dapp is exclusive to Blast;

-1.5 means the Dapp is primarily on Blast but available elsewhere;

-1 means the Dapp is available on multiple chains.

Non-native Dapps that shift their focus to Blast can increase their Blast native weight over time.

Dapp Weights

Dapps were assigned a weight of 0 (unranked), 1 (bronze), 5 (silver), 10 (gold), or 15 (platinum) based on the following factors:

- On-chain traction;

- Use of Blast-native revenue;

- Use of Blast-native gas fee sharing;

- Use of Blast Points API;

- Overall execution (clear communication, no security incidents, etc.).

Dapps that had major security incidents or negative community incidents received a weight of 0 in this round. However, Dapps that continue to learn and improve over time have the opportunity to receive gold points in future rounds.

Some Dapps did not have enough traction to receive a weight in this round, but still look promising. We have allocated 2,000 or 10,000 gold points to these Dapps.

Incentive Weight

Incentive Weight rates the effectiveness of a Dapp in distributing gold points to users, with a score from 0 to 1. FAQs can be found here. As a community member, you can report any suspicious Dapp gold distribution and provide general feedback here.

If you are eligible for Gold Points and are on the list, please fill out this form. You must provide the contract address that has successfully integrated the Blast Points API and the configured Points Operator. Both need to be included in the public documentation on your official website.
