SmartOSC, a digital solutions provider, and Avalanche, a leading blockchain platform, are introducing Vietnam’s first blockchain-based loyalty program.
This initiative, starting with one of Vietnam’s largest coffee chains, promises to revolutionise customer engagement by leveraging blockchain technology.
SmartOSC and Avalanche have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to lead the charge in blockchain adoption for businesses.
Traditional loyalty programs often suffer from inefficiencies such as low retention, delayed rewards, and high operational costs.
"That's where blockchain steps in," stated Kate Nguyen, Head of Strategic Partnerships at SmartOSC.
The partnership with Avalanche aims to overcome these issues by offering a secure, transparent, and seamless reward system for users.
Customers participating in the new program will be able to claim vouchers valued up to 300 million VND, managed entirely on-chain and redeemable at the coffee chain’s outlets.
With 10,000 wallets already onboard, the program demonstrates how blockchain can enhance user experiences through improved reward mechanisms.
The collaboration builds on findings from SmartOSC’s recent report, "Retail Tech Forecast 2025 – Empowering Customers Decode," which highlights the role of technology in shaping future consumer trends.

This includes the continuation of a joint hackathon initiative called "Builders on Avalanche - Making Web3 for everyone," which aims to cultivate over 1,000 skilled blockchain professionals across the region.
