BNB Chain Announces 2024 Outlook and 'One BNB' Concept

According to Foresight News, BNB Chain has announced its 2024 outlook, introducing the 'One BNB' concept. This strategy aims to integrate BSC, opBNB, and Greenfield into a cohesive ecosystem, ensuring seamless interaction between decentralized computing and storage solutions. BNB Chain is a strategic shift that migrates the functionality of the beacon chain to the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) and disables the beacon chain. The BNB beacon chain will be decoded, and new governance and staking, as well as MEV PBS, will be introduced to the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). BSC and opBNB will optimize PBSS (Path-Based Storage Scheme) and parallel EVM 3.0, with enhanced features gradually implemented across all nodes and validators. On opBNB, the gas limit will increase from 100M to 200M, aiming for a throughput of 10K TPS. With the new EIP4844 and data availability layer on Greenfield, gas fees are expected to decrease by 5-10 times. Additionally, opBNB L2 will evolve from one L2 to 'opBNB Connect' to support large-scale application chains. By 2024, Greenfield will enhance the development experience, such as Greenfield executables, atomic updates, and paymaster (AA), and middleware infrastructure, including bundle services and data availability layers, to better meet data processing needs. AvengerDAO's security enhancement involves proactively identifying and alerting potential hackers and scams in the early stages. BNB Chain is committed to building high-performance infrastructure through initiatives such as the 2024 Hackathon, supporting various applications, including high-frequency DeFi, full on-chain gaming, AI, DePIN, and DeSoc.
