According to CryptoPotato, web3 entertainment company HELLO Labs has partnered with blockchain PR and content marketing agency MarketAcross to launch a crypto television series called Killer Whales. MarketAcross will serve as the official PR partner for the show, helping to propel its entertaining narrative to global audiences.
Killer Whales is a reality show where entrepreneurs pitch their crypto and non-fungible token (NFT) projects to a panel of industry experts, known as the whales. The show aims to provide quality entertainment while educating viewers on the rewards and risks of web3. Sander Gortjes, executive producer of Killer Whales and CEO of HELLO Labs, expressed excitement about working with MarketAcross, citing their experience in the web3 space.
MarketAcross will use its decade-long experience in the media industry and relationships with venture firms, event organizers, incubators, and premier media outlets to increase the visibility of the crypto show. Nadav Dakner, CEO of MarketAcross, said they are thrilled to be the official PR partner of Killer Whales and look forward to amplifying its narrative globally.
While Killer Whales has similarities to Shark Tank, its focus is on informing and educating audiences about new web3 technologies and business models, rather than investing in projects. Participating projects will not bear any financial burdens related to the show, and involved parties, including the whales, will sign non-disclosure agreements and non-investment clauses. The series is set to premiere on the HELLO TV Web3 platform on February 8, with episodes released weekly. Starting March 11, the series will be available on various streaming outlets. Some of the whales include former White House communications director and web3 financier Anthony Scaramucci, YouTube personality and crypto analyst Wendy O, and co-founder of NFT Technologies Mario Nawfal.
