Paxos Launches New Interest-Bearing Stablecoin "USDL" with 5% Daily Yield - Can It Challenge USDT and USDC's Dominance?
Stablecoin issuer Paxos' subsidiary, Paxos International, announced yesterday the launch of a new stablecoin, USDL, which offers a 5% yield and is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The official statement indicated that USDL will be deployed on Ethereum, utilizing smart contracts to automatically distribute daily interest to eligible wallet addresses.
