According to Foresight News, Gitcoin has announced the successful conclusion of Gitcoin Grants 20 (GG20). The event managed to raise a total of $632,091, with contributions coming from 35,109 donors.
Previously reported by Foresight News, Gitcoin had announced the launch of the 20th round of its donation event, GG20, on April 23. The focus of this round was to fund open-source software (OSS) projects within the Ethereum ecosystem. Out of the total matching funds of $1.4 million, $1 million was specifically allocated for four major OSS categories. These included hackathon alumni, decentralized applications and applications, developer tools and libraries, and Web3 infrastructure. Additionally, nearly $500,000 was distributed among five independent community rounds.
