Marathon Digital Reports 27% Drop In Bitcoin Production

According to Foresight News, Marathon Digital, a Bitcoin mining company, has reported a 27% year-on-year decrease in its Bitcoin production for May. The company disclosed in its monthly report that it produced 616 Bitcoins in May. The decline is primarily attributed to the halving event that occurred in April. In May, Marathon Digital sold 390 Bitcoins, accounting for 63% of the month's production. The sales were made to support monthly operations, manage finances, and for general corporate purposes. As of the end of May, Marathon Digital held a total of 17,857 Bitcoins.
