According to Foresight News, Holograph Protocol, a full-chain NFT protocol, has released an update on a vulnerability that was exploited by a former contractor. The contractor exploited a loophole to mint an additional 1 billion HLG tokens on Mantle, leading to a temporary lockdown of the protocol. The malicious actor's accounts have been frozen on multiple exchanges, and at least 200 million of the extra 1 billion HLG tokens have also been frozen. In the meantime, all transactions involving HLG tokens have been temporarily halted by the exchanges. A third-party audit will be conducted, and the development of multi-chain tokenization infrastructure and applications will continue.
In a previous report by Foresight News, Holograph announced yesterday that its Operator contract was attacked by hackers, who minted an additional 1 billion HLG tokens.
