DeFi Protocols Show Significant Profitability Compared to Traditional Financial Channels

According to PANews, recent analysis by OKG Research reveals that the profitability of major DeFi protocols currently stands at 27.7%. This figure significantly surpasses the 0.46% profitability of crypto spot ETFs, which are traditional financial channels, and the 5.9% associated with real-world assets (RWA) represented by stablecoins. The capital efficiency and return on investment offered by DeFi have prompted traditional Wall Street financial institutions to increasingly adopt blockchain technology. RWAs have emerged as a crucial link between DeFi and traditional finance. Since U.S. President Donald Trump won the U.S. election at the end of last year, the value of RWA assets has increased by 38.7%.
