Avalanche (AVAX) has shown impressive resilience, with its price increasing by more than 10% in the past 24 hours. The main reason for this upward momentum is the introduction of Ava Labs' new project called Vryx, which aims to enhance scalability.

The team behind Avalanche provided a detailed explanation of how Vryx will significantly increase the network's capacity to an impressive 100,000 transactions per second (TPS).

Scaling Solution for Avalanche Network

Vryx aims to tackle a crucial obstacle in blockchain technology by enabling networks to handle larger transactions while maintaining security and decentralization. The platform utilizes an innovative technique called Decoupled State Machine Replication (DSMR), which brings a revolutionary change to transaction processing.

Unlike traditional blockchains such as Bitcoin, which execute and replicate valid transactions sequentially in every block, decoupled structures showcase advanced capabilities in State Machine Replication (SMR). Vryx's DSMR brings about a revolutionary change by allowing transactions to be distributed and organized prior to validation. This innovation greatly improves transaction speed by enabling a larger number of simultaneous transactions.

The solution works by dividing the transaction process into separate segments and running them in a pipelined manner. One of its notable features is the ability to mitigate adversarial issuance attacks and protect against profit-driven exploits. This is accomplished by implementing fees for all replicated transactions within the network.

The upcoming solution will first be introduced on the HyperSDK testnet before expanding to other Avalanche Virtual Machines.

AVAX Price Witnesses an Upward Surge

The AVAX token of Avalanche experienced a surge in line with the excitement surrounding these advancements. Based on BeInCrypto data, the price of AVAX increased by around 10%, reaching close to $36 at the time of press.

This growth surpasses the gains of other major assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, which experienced gains of approximately 5% or less during the same period.
