Community-driven ZK L2 network ZKFair has announced a strategic partnership with SPACE ID to introduce the .zkf domain service.

The initiative will allow eligible community users to whitelist and secure .zkf domain names of varying lengths for a nominal fee of 1 USDC.

The Public Mint is slated to go live by the end of the current month, enabling registered users to utilise the acquired domain names across all protocols integrated with SPACE ID.

Rules of the Whitelist

Users can stake for different durations to avail themselves of the domain minting opportunities.

Those staking for a 4-year period with over 100,000 ZKF can mint a domain of any length for 1 USDC.

Meanwhile, users opting for a 1-year stake with a similar ZKF threshold can mint a domain with 4 characters or more for the same price.

Additionally, users with a transaction fee expenditure exceeding 300 USDC during the event can mint a domain of any length for 1 USDC, while those surpassing 50 USDC in transaction fees can mint a domain with 4 characters or more for the same cost.

Minting notwithstanding, domains also require maintenance.

Domains with 5 or more characters will cost 5 USDC per year, 4-character domains will be priced at 50 USDC annually, and 3-character domains will be available at a rate of 200 USDC per year.

ZKFair and SPACE ID

ZKFair, known for its 100% fair token launch model, receives technical and computational support from the ZK-RaaS platform Lumoz.

The network employs USDC as its gas fee token, with its mainnet successfully going live on December 20, achieving a peak total value locked (TVL) of $324 million.

SPACE ID, on the other hand, operates as a decentralised domain service protocol, allowing users to bind multiple chain identities.

Communities can leverage the SPACE ID network to establish their own top-level domain services.
