According to BlockBeats, a recent report from South Korean media outlet News1 reveals that Bitcoin continues to be the preferred cryptocurrency among South Korean investors. The survey also indicates that Ripple's XRP has surpassed Ethereum to become the second most popular digital asset in the country. The survey, conducted via the blockchain voting platform The POL, took place from December 24 to December 26, 2024, and included responses from 5,225 investors. The findings rank the top five cryptocurrencies in terms of popularity as follows: Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
