AI Agent Interest in Cryptocurrency Expected to Surge

According to PANews, Jamie Coutts, the chief cryptocurrency analyst at investment firm Real Vision, shared insights on the X platform regarding the evolving trends in the cryptocurrency market. Coutts highlighted that the previous major cryptocurrency hype cycle spanned from November 2020 to May 2021, lasting approximately six months. Sub-sectors like DeFi and NFTs extended for about six to twelve months. Interest in AI Agents within the cryptocurrency sector is anticipated to rise starting November 2024. Drawing from historical patterns, this trend is expected to persist for at least four months, potentially longer. AI Agents are distinct from other areas as they unlock the potential of both established and new use cases. Coutts cautioned that, as with every hype cycle, there will be numerous scams, urging caution and prudent portfolio management. Despite the likelihood of intense sell-offs, he believes there is significant room for growth in this trend.
