Nitro

Nitro is the first Layer 2 scaling solution for Solana. Built for the Cosmos ecosystem, it serves as the gateway between Solana and Cosmos. Nitro features Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) compatibility, enabling developers to access the wider Cosmos user base and expand their applications. It is the first step in making SVM a development standard in the crypto world, similar to the EVM. Apps built on Nitro can benefit from the high performance of the Solana VM (SVM) in addition to the interoperability that is native to IBC.
