According to CNBC, Figma shares fell 7% in extended trading after the company reported third-quarter earnings and guidance that beat analysts’ estimates. Adjusted earnings were 10 cents per share, versus 5 cents expected, and revenue was $391.4 million, compared with $375.8 million expected. Revenue grew about 43% year over year, while the net loss narrowed to $81.3 million, or 15 cents per share, from $1.10 billion, or $2.72 per share, a year earlier. Figma’s 12% adjusted operating margin exceeded the 6.1% analyst consensus. The company raised its full-year operating margin forecast to 11% from 9% and its revenue forecast to $1.497 billion to $1.499 billion from $1.463 billion to $1.467 billion. Analysts had expected $1.471 billion in 2026 revenue. For the fourth quarter, Figma expects revenue growth of about 33%, compared with analysts’ forecast of 28%. The company began providing clients with more AI credits during the quarter while keeping prices unchanged. Finance chief Praveer Melwani said this approach may mean sacrificing near-term revenue to invest in customers and support durable long-term growth. Figma said weekly AI-credit users at organizations spending more than $10,000 on its products increased by almost 50% during the quarter, the share of work handled by its own AI model doubled, and the rate at which users undo AI-generated work declined.
