Ajay Seth, secretary of India’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is in talks with India to draft a document that will focus on “various aspects of monetary policy and a policy approach to cryptoassets,” CoinDesk reported. Ajay Seth also said that the IMF is preparing a document for a 135-minute seminar on crypto-assets to be held during the G20 meeting later this month, which will serve as a basis. Ajay Seth said that he plans to transfer the IMF-drafted document from the consensus of the G20 to the Financial Stability Board's Encrypted Assets Working Group, and hopes that all countries will accept the policy.
