According to Cryptoslate, the Dai Foundation has handed over the management of the MakerDAO Github organization to the TechOps core department responsible for technical operations, hoping to reduce bureaucracy and keep the Dai Foundation away from daily operational tasks. TechOps Core will ensure everyone has read access to the software used in the Maker Project and MakerDAO, and it has also agreed to ensure that all public repositories use licenses and provide public content managers with the Dai Foundation's copyright information. The Dai Foundation stated that its mission is not to provide software development and operation services, but to ensure intellectual property ownership. Before transferring operations to a new party, the Dai Foundation conducted a comprehensive cleanup and reclassification of MakerDAO’s GitHub, and introduced tools and processes to facilitate the transfer of copyright to the Dai Foundation for new protocol software and related software/content.
