According to a report by Crypto Slate citing user emails, the cryptocurrency trading platform CoinEx will stop providing services to users in the United States. Part of the message read, “Due to regulatory requirements, CoinEx can no longer provide services to U.S. citizens or residents.” CoinEx asked U.S. users to withdraw their assets within 60 business days (before April 24), and said it would “gradually ban related accounts” after that. The company identifies US users by IP address. Foresight News previously reported that the New York Attorney General sued the exchange CoinEx for providing unregistered securities and commodity transactions in New York State.
