Starknet Foundation appoints five committees, including one to ensure decentralized and transparent distribution of STRK tokens

The Starknet Foundation announced the appointment of five committees, among which the Provisions Committee is responsible for planning, supervising and executing the supply of the Starknet ecosystem token STRK. STRK will serve as a pledge token participating in the Starknet consensus mechanism, and will serve as the governance token of the network and pay network transaction fees Gas tokens; the Early Adopter Grants Committee works to foster the growth of the Starknet ecosystem by providing grants to innovative teams building on-chain applications on Starknet. Additionally, the Developer Partnerships Council will introduce the Starknet ecosystem by fostering and overseeing new strategic developer partnerships; the Governance Council, tasked with playing a key role in the continued decentralization of the Starknet ecosystem, is responsible for research, planning and the implementation of the initial phase of Starknet governance, the first phase of Starknet governance has been launched; additionally, the Ecosystem Access Committee is responsible for empowering and integrating new developers and community members into the Starknet ecosystem.
