Meta Launches Metaverse Identity System Meta accounts and Meta Horizon Profiles

Meta launched the metaverse identity system Meta account and Meta Horizon Profiles, which are used to replace the use of social media accounts to log in to the Meta universe, but still allow users to use Facebook and Instagram accounts to create Meta accounts. Meta Horizon Profiles will replace Oculus accounts in the future, and the way to log in with Oculus accounts will be as of January 1, 2023.
