Arbitrum tweeted that the foundation sold 10 million ARBs because the foundation was established without funds, and the sale was to fund pre-existing contracts and pay for near-term operating costs. The foundation does not exist to sell tokens, the tokens sold are only enough to cover its current operating expenses, and there are no plans to sell more tokens in the near future. Arbitrum said that AIP-1 covers too many topics, and will follow the DAO's suggestion and split AIP into multiple parts, allowing the community to discuss and vote on different parts; about 750 million ARBs will be transferred to the Arbitrum Foundation, the team It will be voted on in its own AIP, and the team is also looking into adding more responsibilities, eg, a four-year release period. At the same time, tokens held by the foundation cannot be used for voting; given that AIP-1 does not discuss the transparency of how funds are used, as part of the budget AIP, the team will provide a transparency report; Named the "Ecosystem Development Fund" and providing background information on how these funds will be used to grow the Arbitrum ecosystem, the DAO can initiate new grant programs from its treasury at any time.
