Bank of America: Tokenized Gold Market Worth Over $1 Billion in February

According to a Bank of America (BAC) research report cited by CoinDesk, the pace of tokenization of real-world assets is accelerating. The tokenized gold market was worth over $1 billion last month. Bank of America sees the tokenization of real-world assets such as commodities, currencies and stocks as “a key driver of digital asset adoption.” Tokenizing precious metals can increase liquidity and allow investors to quickly and efficiently rebalance portfolios, the report said.
