The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) can request records from the Monetary Authority of Singapore as part of a lawsuit filed by U.S. regulators against Terraform Labs and its founder Do Kwon, a judge has ruled, Bloomberg reported. It is unclear what records the SEC is seeking from Singapore, but Terraform is based in Singapore. The SEC sued Do Kwon and Terraform in February, accusing the latter of offering and selling unregistered securities. Do Kwon and Terraform sought an order forcing the SEC to withdraw its request for the Singapore regulator to obtain documents from the defendants and Terra Foundation Luna Foundation Guard (LFG), which has now been rejected by a judge.
