Odaily Planet Daily News Animoca Brands issued a document stating that its subsidiary and game publisher nWay will release the Web3 multiplayer fighting game Wreck League in September. During the first season, the Wreck League has entered into an agreement with Yuga Labs to use the IP of Bored Apes, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club and Otherside Kodas. Wreck League players will be able to collect mech parts (NFTs) and assemble them to cast complete mech character NFTs.
In addition, nWay will also launch a Web2 free-to-play (F2P) version of Wreck League that can be played without NFT, which will replicate the core gameplay and combat mechanics of the Web3 version, while adding F2P such as daily tasks, battle passes, and in-game stores game features.
