Republicans are delivering on their promise to provide clear rules for the digital asset ecosystem.
According to Forbes, last week House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry and other committee members, Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn Thompson took a leadership role on the policy issue of clear regulation of cryptocurrencies. While the Financial Services Committee voted to send a number of different bills to the full House, three of these policies would provide clarity and substantially improve the regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies. At least two major policy changes appear to have bipartisan support in the House.
