CryptoUK members demanded more clarity on what counts as a financial promotion, which promotions outside the UK would be monitored, and whether the FCA would make which other jurisdictions have the same laws as their home country so that international companies would not be affected. Earlier news, FCA announced the publicity rules for the encryption industry in June, stipulating that the use of financial incentives such as airdrops to promote products is prohibited, and pointed out that encryption companies need to carry risk warnings in advertisements.
