Odaily Planet Daily News Base ecological DEX project RocketSwap tweeted that the team needs to use offline signatures when deploying Launchpad and put the private key on the server. Multiple high-risk permissions resulted in the transfer of farm assets, and the team has closed the farm to prevent further losses. The team is currently working on an emergency plan, and the Telegram group is temporarily banned.
RocketSwap later updated that the contingency plan agreed upon by the team is as follows:
1. Plan to redeploy a new farm contract by deleting the proxy contract and open-sourcing it to the chain.
2. The new farm will advance the production reduction plan by 0.075 per block.
3. The team waives the minting rights and only reserves the low-risk rights to allocate new mining pools.
4. The locked initial liquidity and 80,000 tokens will be extended for 1 year.
5. The team will continue to roll out Launchpad with further updates planned.
6. The Telegram group will reopen after stabilization.
7. Call on hackers to return assets to victims.
According to previous reports, CertiK Alert tweeted that the Base ecological project RocketSwap was attacked by a vulnerability. The attacker bridged the stolen assets to Ethereum, resulting in a loss of 471 ETH (approximately $868,000).
