Odaily Planet Daily News Gyeonggi-do, South Korea announced today that it has completed the revision of the "Code of Conduct for Public Officials in Gyeonggi-do", requiring public officials above level 4 in Gyeonggi-do to report their holdings of bitcoin and other virtual assets before September 1 , when necessary, check the relevance to the job, and take preventive measures based on the information at hand to prevent them from seeking personal gain in the course of their job.
It is reported that on December 14, the "Public Official Ethics Act," which compulsorily declares the virtual assets of senior public officials, will be implemented. (News1)
