The second phase of Thala V2 involves changes to the Thala voting escrow model and the reshaping of the token economy. Updated voting escrow tokenomics now supports 1-sided THL and 80THL-20MOD liquidity pool tokens. Users can lock either of the two to earn veTHL, which represents the user's voting weight. Additionally, Thala is making major changes to its emissions model. All emissions of THL will earn escrowed THL (esTHL), which is an illiquid version of accumulated THL rewards. According to previous news, Thala, the Aptos ecological DeFi protocol, will launch Thala V2 in three stages in August.
