The first phase of the Ethereum re-pledging protocol EigenLayer has been launched on the Ethereum mainnet

The Ethereum re-pledging protocol EigenLayer has deployed the Stage-1 EigenLayer protocol on the Ethereum mainnet, officially launching the Ethereum mainnet. Among them, the function at this stage is consistent with the function accessible on the Goerli testnet since April 6. Ethereum stakers can manage their EigenPod by utilizing the EigenLayer contract or creating an EigenPod and configuring the beacon chain extraction credentials to their EigenPod address. Liquid Staking Tokens and participation in EigenLayer, plus EigenLayer initially capped re-staking at 9,600 Liquid Staking Tokens, worth approximately $1.7 million. The next phase of EigenLayer will introduce Operators, responsible for performing verification tasks for AVS (Active Verification Service) built on top of the EigenLayer protocol. In the third phase, the protocol will leverage EigenLayer to facilitate the launch of multiple AVS.
