Odaily Planet Daily News Lars Seier Christensen, founder of enterprise blockchain Concordium, said in a recent interview that the next cryptocurrency bull market will be completely different from the last one, and investors should lower their expectations for the imminent surge in cryptocurrency prices.
While most industry players are bullish on the proposed spot Bitcoin ETFs, Christensen is skeptical that approval of these ETFs will have an immediate and meaningful boost to the crypto market.
Christensen said: “Even if Bitcoin rebounds, I don’t think you should take it for granted that all cryptocurrencies will rise with it: Does this necessarily mean that Ethereum and many older altcoins will also rebound on this basis? I think That’s almost certainly not going to happen.”
He said that although cryptocurrency prices have declined in the past 18 months, corporate interest in blockchain technology has not diminished at all. Crypto asset prices may not soar as they did in 2021, but instead gradually experience a more gradual increase over the next 18 months. (Cointelegraph)
