Odaily Planet Daily reports that the "decentralized Twitter" project Bluesky has launched the latest version 1.52, which includes multiple improvements to improve the safety and security of the platform, such as allowing users to change and verify their email addresses, and warning users through flags Misleading links.
The bigger change around security involves email verification. Bluesky said that in the coming days, users will receive an in-app prompt asking to verify their email address. Additionally, with the new ability to change email, users who don't have access to their email account or entered it incorrectly during registration can now update their email in the app's Settings. After verification, if the user needs to make additional changes to their account, they will need to provide a confirmation code from the verified email address to confirm the changes. (TechCrunch)
