According to the Korean Economic Daily, the investigation team of the Southern District Prosecutor’s Office in Seoul is referring to overseas cases to determine the securities attributes of LUNA. The prosecution not only summoned and investigated the positions of financial authorities such as the Financial Supervisory Service, but also summoned virtual asset experts as witnesses to conduct investigations. Various opinions are being heard. Existing investigations by prosecutors on Terra and LUNA center on the proof of suspicion of fraud, but if the nature of the securities is recognized, they can be prosecuted for unfair trading through market manipulation, etc., on suspicion of violating capital market laws.
