The Joint Conference on Global Tax Enforcement (J5) invites investigators, cryptocurrency experts and data scientists to participate in a "cyber challenge" to track down individuals and organizations committing tax fraud.
It is reported that J5 members include the Australian Taxation Office, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Netherlands Fiscal Information and Investigation Agency, the British Revenue and Customs Service and the US Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) to cooperate in combating international and transnational tax crimes and money laundering activities. Participants include experts from J5 member countries and are tasked with optimizing the use of data obtained from various public and survey sources in each country. (Cointelegraph)
