Ukraine’s “Law on Virtual Assets” will be amended in line with the provisions of the European Union’s Market in Cryptoassets (MiCA) legislation, Bitcoin.com reported. Reports suggest that virtual asset (VA) legislation may now undergo significant changes, with revisions that may even affect the adopted classification of virtual assets. A new version of the Virtual Assets Law may be submitted by the end of 2022. Ukraine qualified for EU membership in June. In early July, the main players in the EU's complex legislative process, the Parliament, Council and committees, agreed to implement MiCA across the 27-nation bloc.
