The team behind the scam service provider Inferno Drainer said in a Telegram group on November 26 that it would be permanently shut down. It is reported that Inferno Drainer provides users with phishing tools and takes a 20% commission from the funds stolen by users. According to analysis by Web3 anti-fraud platform Scam Sniffer, Inferno Drainer has stolen nearly $70 million in funds since February, with more than 100,000 victims. However, the Inferno Drainer team says the amount stolen exceeds $80 million.
